Ty Taber and Jonathan Litster secured a $1,375,000 settlement for the family of a young man tragically killed in a motorcycle crash. The case involved complex insurance issues, including a $50,000 policy limit from the at-fault driver and a challenge to the family’s Underinsured Motorist (UIM) coverage. The insurer attempted to cap the recovery at $250,000 under Arizona’s anti-stacking statute, but Ty and Jonathan successfully proved that multiple policies applied and the insurer’s documentation failed to meet statutory requirements. Their efforts led to an additional $1,025,000 recovery—more than triple the initial offer.
