During law school, Maria interned for one summer at Gallagher & Kennedy, where she acquainted herself with all aspects of the firm’s practice, including anti-trust litigation, commercial property disputes, commercial contract litigation, personal injury and wrongful death actions, and criminal defense.
Maria’s law school experience included legal externships with the Arizona Attorney General’s Office, Liability Management Section, the Arizona Supreme Court, Staff Attorney’s Office, and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. She was a Constitutional Law Teaching Assistant, a member of the Women Law Students’ Association, a member of the Arizona Women Lawyers Association, a Law Ambassador for the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law, an Arizona Legal Center Volunteer, and a CourtWorks Volunteer.
